Studies have shown that yoga is an effective way of reducing lower back pain as well as improving bone density. Learn functional exercises and poses to strengthen your muscles and bones, improve posture and balance, and increase flexibility in a safe and supportive environment. Classes are especially helpful for anyone with osteopenia or osteoporosis (or want to prevent it) as well as those who are feeling the negative effects of technology on their body and mind. Breathing exercises and other relaxation techniques are incorporated to reduce tension and anxiety. Leave feeling relaxed, empowered and standing taller! All levels and ages welcome. Chairs and props are available.
