In this workshop you will learn yoga poses that have been shown to improve bone health from Dr. Loren Fishman’s groundbreaking 10-year study. When done daily, these poses have been shown to reverse osteoporosis and osteopenia in those that have it, and build bone in those who do not have these conditions.
This workshop is ideal for beginners who are new to yoga or seasoned practitioners who may want to adapt their practice to focus on improving bone health. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced versions of all the poses.
In addition, we will cover other exercises and stretches that improve posture, balance and agility. Chairs and props will also be available.
